Sebastião Salgado’s exhibition “Aqua Mater” is inspired by a profound reflection on the element of water and the environmental problems that threaten it. For this project, 42 black and white photographs were carefully selected to capture the complexity of the relationship between man and water in different environments from the four corners of the planet. The impressive installation, curated by Lélia Wanick Salgado, offers an intense look at nature and human lives affected by violent climate change.
